Some things never change, thank God! The outside of the building is the same as it was when I first started coming here a decade ago; the great menu has not really changed (except for the prices); and judging from my last two visits this month the food is still an exceptional value! The one food item which has changed in the product, but not the quality, quantity or taste, are their onion rings. But I will come back to them in just a moment.
I have never been inside this restaurant, I always use the drive-thru and whether or not there are cars ahead of me the drive-thru provides a nice long wait. Which only proves, in my opinion, that not everything is pre-made and popped in the microwave but the Cook's actually prepare the meals!
Allow me to individually review each item ordered. Double bacon hamburger (I do not like cheese): hamburger patty prepared nicely not overcooked and leathery; excellent ratio of shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, bacon and dressing to bun and meat patties. Very tasty.
Pastrami sandwich: good portion of quality pastrami which was not too lean and was not dripping in fat. Nice toast on the roll. Juicy and Delicious!
Onion Rings: My last visit was over a year ago and the onion rings were more onion strings than rings. Delicious and tasty but again, more strings than rings. This visit they were actual rings! Just as tasty, just as well cooked and more rings than I could consume at one sitting!
Kudos to the owner for not sacrificing quality of ingredients for price.

My fiance' and I had 2 avacado bacon burgers( one each) an order of onion rings and a order of zucchini and 2 drinks one root beer and one sprite. This was at 1-2 pm today.
We ate there inside.
The burgers did not taste as good as normal and the onion rings and zucchini was over cooked. The batter was chewy and tough.
We did not tell them then because there was a long line and usually we have them to
go and they are great.
2 hours later we were sick. Adomal Cramping, Bad Gas, stomach bloating and Direaha!!!
I call the store and told the lady on the phone which was being very rude when I told her we got sick and I wanted to report it.
She said she can't help me. The manager is not there until tomorrow morning.
I gave her my phone number and name , it seemed like she could care less.
Then she hanged up.
I CALLED BACK AND THE PHONE WENT TO VOICE MAIL AND WOULD NOT TAKE MESSAGES BECAUSE IT WAS NOT SET UP TO TAKE MESSAGES!!!
WHEN DID RESTRAUNTS NOT HAVE LANDLINES?
I WILL BE CALLING HEALTH DEPARTMENT TOMORROW WE GO SICK AND OTHERS COULD OF BEEN SICK TOO.

I had the chicken wrap and fried zucchini. Let me just say the zucchini were BOMB! The wrap was also good, but it had more veggies than chicken but it was still very delicious! Overall really good!!

We enjoyed our meals. Juicy chicken salad with really good ranch dressing. A BLT combo with nicely cooked French fries. My friend got a garden salad and fountain sodas. The place was buzzing with a crowd everyone enjoying different meals, breakfast and lunch dinner menu at three in the afternoon. Place was somewhat clean and employees very courteous except one .

On the way to Pauma Casino this morning we stopped at Chris Burgers at 6:00 a.m. And the Owner helped us through drive thru and we had English muffin with ham egg and cheese, it was made fresh was so hot we had to wait to eat it, but it was delicious
On the way back from Pauma Casino we stopped again to have dinner inside
There menu is huge American, Spanish
Cecelia helped us she had a big smile to greet us helped us to decide
My Husband asked if they have Good burgers with bacon and Cecelia said why don't you try the Frisco Burger combo my Husband loved it was juicy and the bun was fresh
It is so big that he could only eat half of it
I ordered Pastrami Combo
So big I could only eat half myself The Pastrami was so juicy and very savory
Taking home my half and my husband half to eat tomorrow
